How to remove vw t5 sliding door handle

Thanks so much for showing how this is done buddy 😊 Mine didn't come out and I wasn't sure what the issue was, but it turns out it was the metal plate not moving (rusty I think) so a little tap with a screwdriver and hammer and it moved out the way, letting me get the locking mechanism out. Thanks again 👍

Thank you. @bushido warrior Absolutely fab video, no nonsense. My T6 handle was stuck out- this allowed me to fix. My Kombi has no insulation so allowed me to use a proper T20 Torx screwdriver

the standard front doors have a spring clip, your sliding door shows none so how does the handle spring back? mine works fine apart from the spring back, the handle is loose.

Brilliant, do the handles wear out ? Sometimes ours doesn't open

I like these no nonsense no head wrecking music video. Straight to the point. But I have a question. When you have the handle removed, how do you remove the mounting bracket that sits behind the handle and over the locking mechanism. I had to get a replacement as my one fell apart while in situ. It is a 2016 caddy but looks like identical handles to yours

Hello, super video, is it the same voor de slidedoor, how do i get access? I have a T6 2016 California ocean

Just wondering, the forward part not lock end, of the handle on mine feels a bit loose. You can rock it slightly up and down. What could that be? Is it the plastic part worn out? New handle?
