this 200% doesn't take into account the time you've spent doing this type of sorcery.

From my experience, and my slow computer, 30 minutes setting this up easily beat the the hours it would have taken to render the other frames

You can't cut your renders by 200% hehe that's not how percentages works, on the other hand the description is accurate, you can render 200% faster 😀

yes, but the problem is that I can't go to flowframe because it takes so long to render, and sometimes it crashes

This is a very good use of AI interpolation, actually. Changes a lot from these loosely made 60FPS edits of anime.

Though the math is wrong. If you render every other frames that means you render half the frames, so it would be cut down by 50%, not 200%

@@neroctopusmess3198 it depends on how long it takes to render each new frame depending on your computer's specs. it is for sure faster than 50% compared to rendering a complete frame in blender

I have seen this “advice” in many different videos….if you have AI make up what half of your frames look like, then is it really your artwork anymore? In my opinion, it is not and a non-interpolated 60fps video will always look better than an interpolated one.
