I hope you guys like this rather untypical video today! I wanted to pack in as much information as possible so it’s gotten a bit long 😅 Let me know what you think and I will see you soon with some pretty cool videos 😎🤘🏻✌🏻☺️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
This is great! You are so meticulous and careful, even though I can see you also doing the rendering with confident strokes of the pen. Excellent tutorial, thank you
Great vid . I think your tattoos have helped a lot with the brush pens because you are very good at knowing the depth or amount of pressure your using. Having a steady hand while doing long lines is something I’m working on . Thankyou for doing an instructional vid , hatching is so useful and looks amazing when done properly.👍Love your videos they help me so much ❤️🇦🇺❤️✌️✌🏽✌🏿
Thank you so much Jay Ly. That’s great to hear! Yeah, my work as a tattoo artist was sure helping a lot with my lines! But practice is the key ✌🏻😅☺️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
This is really helpful... I can see that it takes a lots of practice to get used to and to control the lines.... I'm definitely going to practice this... Thank you so much for this amazing Tutorial 😁😁😁
Excellent video Dok. This is one that will really be helpful for a lot of us, and those who want to draw in this style. We get a peek into your mind when rendering and it’s really great! Id watch more of these tutorials 😀 Cheers my friend!
Loved it! Great job, and I really learned a lot with the hair. I would LOVE it if you could do a female anatomy tutorial. Always have trouble with that
Well, I’m actually still learning that 😅 Other artists, anatomy books...but I made a great video about anatomy where you can find a simple version of all the muscles you need! Check it out in my tutorials playlist!
at school where I learned graphic design they didn't teach us these details on how to ink our drawing when we finish the pencil lines. in schools they teach less than they receive money
I'm always watching your videos. a question i'm using graphite f on 180g bristol paper but i feel hard graphite how can i release my hand to draw more fluidly?
No one does pen and ink rendering, better than Nate Van Dyke! *Nate Van Dyke in his Studio* - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ksIsbwHqeks.html *Nate Van Dyke stops by Threadless* - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2_HpgDNsE-8.html
My only criticism - you’re using the same texture on his skin as you are on a wooden table by using the same type of rendering broken lines. Different surfaces should have different textures to them - skin, wood, metal etc. when you’re using the same cross hatching rendering lines on everything it all looks the same
