This looks 100 times better than what Bandai originally did, the nice paint job still doesn’t justify a $160 dollar price though 😂 maybe around $90

This looks so good! All those small details look so clean! I think I need to get some of this paint, because I love how glossy and metallic it looks! When I painted my playmates figure I added highlights in the red areas to create a glowing effect, but the red paint doesn’t look quite as good as this does.

I liked it but with this one out I definitely think it needed like a darker gray color. I still think the over gray is too light, but still well done

Zurc paints are gunpla paint which you can buy here in the Philippines. You can check them out on Facebook. You can also use other gunpla paints.

Thank you! Yeah. We tried to make it look not too weathered this time just enough to make some of the small details stand out. But I agree it will also look good with more dry brushing. 😊

Would clear red still create a metallic effect? I’m using tamiya paints.

I suggest trying it on a piece of metal first like a metal wire so you can see the finish. Tamiya paints tend to be a little thick which might hide the details. You might have to device a way to thin it out. Or just use gunpla paints instead.

Good question. No we didn't. We dry brushed the weathered look and red highlights but didn't apply mod podge to preserve the shine of its original paint which we think is already very good. 😊

This is some nice repaint for Mechagodzilla Altho two things I wanna ask 1. Where did u get the new custom pistons under its legs? 2. Is it possible to repaint the whole figure darker, cuz I wanna try

I do suggest you use gunpla/tamiya paints so that it is not too thick. Otherwise it may cover all the intricate details of the figure. Best of luck on your custom! 😊

can i know what colour they use with this mechagodzila? i try to buy in shop but i Don't know the colour type i know its silver metalic but not sure if its right

Not sure what Bandai used, but for our custom, we used a silver metallic acrylic paint and then dry brushed some black acrylic paint to add some weathering effect to it. 😊
