My dad’s bass failed in a similar manner, but the tail was still sorta working. Looking at your fix, I imagine this was a common problem. Back then I remember taking the cover off to see if I could figure out the problem and fix it, and then when I saw how the fish was attached I decided it was too much trouble and said forget it. I think we still have it somewhere but I have no idea where it is.

Tip for anyone for animatronics: if the motorshaft gear is loose it is split or if you hear a ticking noise

Well... the second channel I finally found out it's purpose, the main channel is for exactly what the channel is called, Applying high voltage to toys. From what I see, the second channel is kind of like an expansion to the OG channel, with toys being applied low volts (Basically, the low battery vids, but more controlled) and besides that, the second channel is kind of like a dumping ground for toys which aren't as interesting with high volts, and stuff not related to high or low volts or as an update zone.

I have a Travis the singing trout fish that has the same problem that came with a slightly damaged box and I fixed him, just like yours.

I think the tail gear is still split which is why it still isn't moving so much.
