Looks like Shaw full house. Nightmare to work with. Row, straightedge, notch cut, whatever, Seam always shows a line. Wish they’d discontinue it. Should pay pattern match rates for this crap. I’ve been thinking about buying a serpent edge for this carpet. Also. What is that light on your iron? Need one of those.
I installed this at a department store. We cut the carpet square to the vinyl grid pattern but unfortunately this lead to us being about 2 inches short on one side of the carpet. After repairing we noticed that the long lines on the main carpet aren't in line on the repair piece. Do you have any advice? I'll include a video description below: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zMgo5_cZEm8.html

Let’s say I have to repair a seam in a room where it is not an option to pull the carpet back over and expose the back of the carpet/seam? Will two layers of tape definitely be noticeable?
Hey i have a question. So i installed a job the other day (pattern carpet). The major seam in the rec room is showing. Pattern is perfect and its not peaking or anything however the seam is darker than the rest of the floor. There is basically a 2 inch wide line ( darker pile ) throught the length of the seam. Im assuming its from my iron for being too hot and the metal weight i use. Moisture wasnt able to get out. Is there any way to repair that???
@@jprofessional7494 Either a wallpaper steamer a curtain steamer or something like that, you can go to any store that sells vacuum cleaners and find steamers, you don’t have to go crazy with it and if it is a huge area it will definitely be less noticeable than if it’s just a skinny strip, if the whole room needs steaming then it is better than replacing the carpet, Hope that helps buddy, I have used steamers on seems when you have royal crush and it will blend it
Thank you for all of your tips and tricks. I do alot of property maintenance and I love learning how to do more parts of a turn instead of trying to get subs in to do things that I can do.
@@FloorsbySouthernboys I was wondering if you could do a video on how to promote my/peoples businesses? I am McLarnon & Co. Flooring on Facebook and Instagram. Based in Jersey Channel Islands far across the pond from yourself!
@@PHOENIX_JMC Competition is absolutely not an issue, but there is a lot of work and time that is involved in recording and putting together one of these videos
