Your video was so very helpful !! Been a long time since I had to do a repair and this was for an interior panel piece so I knew it would be a bit tricky. You explained everything so well and thoroughly. Just finished the repairs and it looks great......which was important as it's a Christmas present and there wasn't enough time to start over. How does the piece connect to the other pieces that weren't broken? You foiled the broken piece again, but didn't add foil to the pieces surrounding it, which was removed also???
Thank you for asking this question. In order to properly repair the piece both the circle and the surrounding glass pieces would need to have foil reapplied prior to soldering.
