My wife dropped her fake Lady Datejust on the tile floor and it quit working consistently. I ordered a new cheap chinese movement and am going to try to swap it out. Im excited to try. I have a few real Swiss watches and a few fakes I have picked up on travels around Turkey and Morocco. I love them all! Great memories attached to every one of them.
Just a tip, you can put the cover plate for the dial side on before moving the date jumper with the spring in place. There's a little cutout for it. Just loosely tighten the screws on the plate before moving it into place. It takes a lot of the hassle out of getting that secure without springs and jumpers flying everywhere.

Hello sir, thanks for watching my video, means a lot to me. This watch balance amplitude was quite low, so I have service this watch. A service on a watch can last upto 8 to 10 years only if there is no water leakage in the watch.

just curious ... 1) will the average pro watchmaker even work on a fake Rolex or a fake of some other "high end luxury watch"? 2) Are the fakes WORTH servicing and repairing, or would it be less costly to just replace it with another fake?
Hello sir, 1) I'm not a pro watchmaker😅, but most people get their watch fixed just because it means a lot to them. 2) Buying a new replica is good option too. But if 50usd watch can get fixed in 6-7usd. Then it's not a bad deal too.
Yes pro watch makers and beginners start and practise on this movement. This movement is a Mingzhu dg2813 a copy of the Japanese Miyota 821A which in itself is a modified Miyota 8215. They are sturdy, cheap, reliable and accurate entry level movements designed to be exported for the micro watch brand market. The great thing about these movements is A) You get a good one and it will last for 10/20 plus years before it needs servicing or B) You get a not so good one and then you can just replace it for about 30 Euros, you can even inter change it with the Miyota if you wanna go Japanese :) and hope you get a good one. And dont think top end Luxury watches dont break, often, they do.

I have a fake Milgauss that the hour hand doesn't move anymore. It worked well until I tried to adjust the time one day and it stopped moving. Can you show a video on how to fix the hour hand?
What movement is recommended to replace a gmt master 2 fake Rolex. My gmt function doesn’t work at all and the date doesn’t flip all the time ..help please!

Hey man, I got a replica. It has come but isn't moving. I've tried to shake it and use the time setter! But it's not doibg anytbung. I've openr the back and nothing inside is moving either except the weight rotator
I am assuming this arrived with no power, did you set the crown to winding position and wind it 15-20 times ? that should get the movement going initially. Only shaking a movement with no power in reserve will not make the watch move mch. Hope ur watch is working now.
