This simple video will provide you with the information you need to prep and repair your fuel tank. I added another video towards the end as to show more of mixing and applying the epoxy.
I'm doing the exact same thing on my eton 150cc and I couldn't find a new one no where either... I put a brass hose nipple type fitting instead of the old one because i found they had same type vacuum check fuel valve that isnt threaded to bottom of the tank fitting but bolted to the frame and run hose to nipple to the check valve instead so makes lot easier to change out if it goes bad again...thanks for the video
Those kits suck they will fail soon especially under fuel vacuum fittings and lines anywhere that fiberglass kit wont work get a real good hardener sand the surfaces damm good and clean everything very well and rubber compression grommets and you'll have to just find a way to get it tightened
I still have that quad and knock on wood, the tank doen't leak at all. It's been two years and we use it all the time. I read and watched other videos and it didn't look like they cleaned the area properly. I'm not saying it's going to work on every application, but it you prepare your surface properly, it's worth the try. Thanks for watching.
