@oponoponomeditation there are different style of seat belts. In most there are gears that lock up and need to be replaced. Also, there is a pyro sensor that needs to be replaced. That pyro sensor will keep the airbag light if not changed.
My 2023 Dodge Ram was rear ended and now both the Driver side and the Front Passenger side Seat Belts are locked up, but no Air Bags were deployed. Do I need to send in the Seat Belts and the module to have it reset?
2012 F150 FORscan says DEPLOY_19_R 66 ohms passenger seatbelt pretensioner deployment control resistance. Is 66oh? Driver side is 2 ohms code RCM B11D8-14 never been in accident
The passenger seat belt is bad. The driver seat is good because it is 2 ohms. A good seat belt and good airbag will have a resistance of between 2 - 3 ohms. Seat belt pyro sensors do go bad over time, and we do rebuild them. Visit myairbags.com
Title of the video: How to repair the seat belt pretensioner? Answer in the video: Its a high tech device(send it to us, we are not going to tell you in the video how to repair the seat belt pretensioner).
I know this may seem frustrating, but in order to fully break down a pretensioner you are required to have a pyrotechnics license due to the internals of a seat belt.
@@MyAirbags You are wrong. There are 'do it yourself' videos fully breaking down a pretensioner made by people without any license. Fake title of your video is misleading cause simply its a promotional video, not educational. We are all certified youtube mechanics. Take a ac system. Do you know how much money we save by following youtube videos and repairing our cars at our garage? Technicaly we should have certificates for our equipment and skills.
@@kamilkazmierczak2842 thank you, the title of the video has been changed. Question for you, what would you like to see in a seat belt repair video? Please share so we can create a video that would help you!
Looks like this code is talking about the seat belt pretensioner code. Check the plug, connector. If all is good you may need to have a seat belt replaced or rebuilt. We do rebuild seat belts.www.myairbags.com/product-category/repair-return/seat-belt-repair/
For proper repair, OEM parts need to be used. See this video to know if the seat belt was repaired correctly: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7skCTGv_gNM.html
We don't recommend that you bypass safety devices that can save lives. If you are installing racing seat and the vehicle is not used on public roads and you need to bypass the seat belt sensor for other reasons then a 2 ohm resistor can be used. Really want to caution you ⚠️ on not bypassing safety devices.
