Do you recommend sealing both sides of the window?

No, doing the one side is enough. I’ve already taken my tent out in the rain, and have had absolutely no issue’s with the window leaking. Thanks

Looks good. Simple fix.. assuming you still have the clear window… not in my case…I need to see about getting a new window to glue yo my fly… nonetheless… if I can find that, I can get the adhesive from here in your link!

Gday bobsuruncle, it’s a great product, you can repair any part of the tent. It doesn’t just have to be the window. Should be able easily find a clear piece of plastic sheet to use for the window. I was lucky not too loose mine. Good luck.

This was super helpful! Now, I'm wondering if any of the products I already own, such as Gorilla Glue or other epoxies or rubber cement or superglue would work rather than buying such a purpose-specific adhesive. Anyone have experience using other, more common household adhesives?

Thanks, hope it helps. I did initially try superglue, but it wouldn’t bond with the plastic and tent material. Still couldn’t be happier with the WP+ excellent product for tents that need the fix to be waterproof.

It’s the original clear window that came off the tent. Could possibly substitute it for a small piece of clear tarp from the hardware store.

Hi Ray, I used the same polyurethane window that the tent came with. The only reason it came off was cause the glue holding it on had broken down over the years. Window seal has fully cured now. It’s a great product, very happy with it, can definitely recommend. Thanks
