This may be possible....BUT, STK's were designed with overload protection, thermal shutdown and bootstrap features. Akai designed circuits around available semiconductor devices at the time. This is a dire straits situation if no STK's are available then yes. Sound characteristics may differ since transistor hfe are not exactly the same. Unless STK specify equivalent transistor circuits.
Quite similar to the work I had been doing when it came to solid state amplifier repair except the STKs were available (1972 to around 2000). I got so experienced with transistor amps that I even made some from scratch in the late 1970s early 1980s. They still work now, trouble free.

It would have been nice if you could have focused on the npn that's would be able to tell which one you were using but obviously you were going too fast and if you really didn't consider that other people might want to know
не так давно ремонтировал усилитель TRIO-7500. там тоже была сгоревшаю микросхема(микросборка) TA-100 (типа STK). Цена на нее очень высокая, порядка 200$ Пришлось проектировать и травить плату взамен этой микросборки.

Hello, I have 5.1 surround sound system(home theatre) here is the problem Couple of months ago it stopped working, as in it doesn't amplify the input sound to the speakers. But just yesterday, accidentally I plugged it to 110v source(normal 220v) and it worked, of course there is a buzz sound coming out it(I guess that's because of low power), on 220v it's still not working. What could possibly have gone wrong?
Hi there. Got JVC ja s 22 and is dead. No sound at all through speakers or phones input. It turns on, lights are present, can hear transformer but no sound. What to buy best? Original sanyo stk0040 or replacement. Any difference in sound? Thanks

STK0039 es cuasicomplementario, lleva 2 transistores NPN, y el STK0040 es complementario, lleva un NPN y un PNP, además esos son darlington, el A1943 y el C5200 no lo son, necesita transistores drivers, falta el ajuste de bias también.

It is not possible to get some of the STK***** modules as they have been discontinued so if you can replicate the chip from the circuit diagram using descretes then that is the way to go.
