I know right!? This is why I started my channel to begin with because I couldn't find anyone who had healthy blonde curls and kept at it! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing. This was so helpful!!Hair is such a big part of a black girl’s identity and I know so many of us have made these mistakes. I can definitely relate. My hair broke off when I had highlights and was getting my hair straighten every two weeks. My hair is healthy now,but I don’t have color in it anymore and I’m natural. Seeing your transformation gives me confidence that I can have color without damaging my hair. Thanks girl for all the good info!!! 💖💖💖
Thank you for this info. My hair does not do well with constant manipulation. It grows and thrives much better when I leave it alone. I am taking my braids down today and will be starting a new healthy hair care journey. I am going to try to do no more braids because braids are my weakness. Jailen almost made me cry 🥰. She is such a cutie.
Amazing Transformation curl friend !! I’m happy with my Natural Curls 🤍 4 Years & going 🙌🏼 been relaxing and coloring for many years due to insecurities & not loving myself !! I’m so happy I found that within me !!
This was so helpful! I bleached my hair and recently went back to brunette and ugh it’s breaking😩 I’ve never had this problem and my hair is long so I’m panicking. I’ll just cut the color out gradually hopefully it doesn’t break off in weird places.
Deep conditioning is keep! Weekly with heat. Limit your direct heat to once or twice a month without daily touch ups. I had to give up the heat, I'm done to once or twice a year.
Well.... looks like I have a long road ahead 😬. My mistake was going from red to straight up blonde 🤦🏾♀️. My hair is past my shoulders. Curls are hanging on by a thread 😩. It's like I got a relaxer almost. Some areas are still curly and others are bone straight. Talk about a broken heart lol. I'm 4 weeks blonde. Been doing deep conditioning every week and just did my first aphogee protein treatment. I pray my length atleast holds on. I'm not really sure about getting my roots touched up. May need to stick to rinses. I'm so traumatized lol.
It's definitely the combo. I had to let the heat go. I don't even own flat irons. I get my hair straight once or twice a year at a salon so it lasts. I would start doing heat breaks. 2 months then 3 months than 4 months and so on. Deep conditioning weekly with heat and slowly trimming off those damaged ends. That's how I did it. I was in the chair every two weeks thinking because I dint have a perm I could just keep straightening my hair with color. I had ZERO curl pattern. That's when I started the heat breaks and i could see the difference. You got this!
@@JasColoredCurls that makes sense! thanks so much! i’ll start to lessen the heat. how often should i get a root touch up? my first time getting blonde was in march, and i haven’t received color since. also, i’ve been using leave in conditioner spray everyday to get moisture. is this too much?? sorry for asking a lot of questions!
