Thanks man! I bought a new guitar and 4 of the 6 tuning pegs had a loose screw on the bottom gear. This video helped me fix them. I almost threw them out and bought new ones.
I have no idea what you are saying but this video helped me getting the lid on the back of the tuner off, the screw had come loose so the gear was just flopping around in the housing. Thank you!
Thanks a lot man, mine gear was broken i due to which i was noy able to tune. i thought of getting the replaced. but your video came in my search and helped me to fix that ❤
I can't get the gear cover off by knocking the head of the pin, like at 3:12. Anyone, please? ETA: Welp, I wound up going to Sam Ash and they replaced the entire tuner. Much easier! Problem solved.
Your guitar pegs were all good and why did you opened it lol ... Our problems are pegs getting slipped while tighten the strings ... And it should be replaced at any how so dont waste your time in filming such videos ... Just suggest to replace the new pegs that will be more helpfull .... You wasted my 5 mins ...
@@aeroblackwoods6747 just simply go to the guitar shop or order the tuning keys and then put them on your guitar 🎸 ... It's simple ... Don't waste your time on such stupid videos
Agreed. Using a stripped Philips head on the screws and rusty lineman pliers for the lock nut is pretty ghetto. Not to mention his sudden discovery of the extra plastic washer, and not knowing where it went (If you look, the high E tuner is missing the plastic washer just under the knob). Then he puts it in the wrong place and declares it fixed! 😆😆😆 EDIT: I just looked at his channel, and he posted another video where he decides to replace all the tuners, since he failed the 1st time. He got 6 left-hand tuners, and instead of returning 3 to exchange for right-hand tuners, he put the left-hand ones on anyway, boring 3 new screw holes!! He then winds the ENTIRE strings onto the pegs without even trimming them, the low E wrapping all the way to the bottom of the peg, ensuring it's early demise too!! Wow! Brilliance in action!!
