That’s good stuff it’s called butyl tape that you have there in rolls . Thanks for shout out! RV stuff is Liquid Rubber RV Lap Sealant you’re referring too
@@builtonabudget6767 I seen that later in the video once I got to that section you said butyl tape , ℹ responded as video was playing when you asked me the question 🙋♂️ That tape is sticky as all get out !!! Like a thick booger 😹
We had a 30' bumper pull on our 50 acres, you never knew what was going to be wrong with it on any given weekend. Mud daubers making nests in the furnace, mice finding their way in and piss and crap all over everything, running out of propane and having to switch tanks in the middle of a freezing winter night, etc. You are wise to practice camping first! That camper could be a huge pain in the rear at times, but I wouldn't trade those memories with the family for anything.
Dang I was going to tell you to get one of those plastic sheets just in case the roof leaked a little, cast a better way to do it to save money play trash bags to put them over the top just in case and remove them before you go to bed when you're going to use it or sit on it But you probably over there now but it's a cheap way to save some grief later in the night and keep dry put extra sheets or blanket to somewhere
I like what you’re doing, when you put your window back in put it back together with new screws make it pretty on a budget PS I did giggle when you thought you wet the bed stay on this project it’s fun video from Wheaton Illinois no whining
If we started camping we would also have to do a trial run in the yard. That’s good to know because I’d rather be at home and go back to my house than to be in the woods and have a meltdown when it goes off the rails. I like that sealer strip you used, I could think of a lot other uses I could do with that stuff. I loved the ‘make sure I didn’t pee’ comment 🤣. Loving these camper videos as well as the truck videos. ✌️
"Had to make sure I didn't pee the bed" 😂🤣🤣 I feel ya BOAB. With age our bodies just get all outta wack. That little camper gonna be one cool little outfit when you get done with it. Lookin Good 😎🤙
Thanks for sharing. Fine work on the camper. I know you are a humble man but I have to say you are blessed with good common sense, the ability to apply it, and skills with your Smithsonian hands. Metal work, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc. The question I have is: what is the short list of things that Mr. Built can't do?
