Stupid Engineering idea. They would have simply made Mixer Jar spindle which will rotate easily. Secondly give metal top screw type. He'll with the plastic jammed. Simply every one copied and made. No one made improvement. Mark the plastic size. Then burn it. Weld a Bold of the size as per head incert of the plastic spindle. Bottom of the rod make it a sharp so it rotates easily.
