this is by far the best video out there on how to take apart the es2 i have used your instructions over a dozen times in past week to disasemble my scooter and it has helped me immensely thank you
What a great video! You don’t even need to understand what they say, just follow the steps to disassemble any part of the scooter you need to fix, thanks👍
If you advertise it in English you really should to talk English in the actual vid. That said, even without my understanding one word,it is a great vid on disassembly of the ES-4 scooter. Golly look at all the screws ! Good camera work, lighting, etc. Two questions : 1) Where are they hiding the batteries? People that build 'perpetual motion' machines' would love to talk to you! 2) How did you work the tools so fast?😈 Great no-nonsense instructional vid from a profesional team.
@jordypoe His point wasn't that him not talking english is bad, his point was that the guy putting the title in english was a bad idea if he talked another language in the video itself
The infuriating part is that they use a warranty sticker on two screws that get loose and eventually back themselves out, preventing you from doing much of this and eventually resulting in injury… unless you are willing to void the warranty. The front wheel on my Segway Ninebot ES3 Plus (same as ES4) went completely sideways to the handlebar causing me to skid across the pavement face-first. Thankfully I had a helmet but that did not keep my chin and lips off the sidewalk so they were scraped and bloody. My jeans were torn wide open leaving a very bloody knee that required bandages for nearly a month. Within a month of buying that scooter it started having constant issues with the connection between the external battery and the stem (error 42), eventually melting the connector. I finally returned it and just got an ES4 that had error 21 out of the box. I could take care of that if it were not for those warranty stickers. Yes, US law does not allow them to void your warranty like that but good luck arguing with a retailer or a company that is out of the country. They wouldn’t even help me when it was brand new, constantly closing my open cases after telling me to expect a response.
What I am looking for is a video to improve the subject of the base of the skate to the battery bar, since after 500km the three screws give way to aluminum and I have loose the steering wheel of the base.
Youre so smart, im in love with u and i even dont understand a bit of what to are you saying....intelligence its the sexiest thing on earth!!! Thanx for the tutorial!!!!!
My es4 isn't unfolding. It doesn't make the snap sound when you unfold it and I believe I am missing a part? Does anyone have advice for this? plz help
anyone knows where to buy the ES2 front wheel ? Looks like the brake regen system was overloaded on my ES2 and brake is constantly on, jamming the wheel. Thanks
@@MrTrangalobi Thanks. It is more serious than this. I know what you're saying but the whole brake system is gone. Meanwhile I changed the wheel with a brand new one and still having the same issues. Last piece left to swap was the controller (which is in transit now)
@@Damon1864 Hi, the fix was to replace the whole controller. Now I have two front wheels, one spare and the other one bought new is in use. Took it piece by piece, if I knew it was the controller I would have changed that part first.Careful on the eABS, too much usage it may burn out the controller.
Someone who already changed the front wheel could he/she please leave a comment with the name of the tools? Plus the rear wheel, is that different from the front one? Can you replace just the tire or you have to change all the rear wheel?
In case you still want one: about the rear and front wheel the tire are the same BUT the front wheel is also a MOTOR (it’s inside) so it’s much more difficult to replace the tire of the front wheel (you lit need to disassemble the wheel) then the rear one which is a normal wheel
This vid only reminds me of the offer up guy I gave my scooter to “fix” my stem wobble an replace my tire. Dude ended up swapping my good parts with stolen older ones an even swapping the whole motor to, an even lost some screws put some different ones.Fucking tweak
yes. it's probably those 3 silver hex bolts that got stripped from the frame. you can see the 3 bolts if you pause the video at 11:15. They are fastened in a triangular pattern.
Please. I need help.
Segway makes absolute junk! Customer service is almost non existent. I recently bought a new ES4 Kickscooter that lasted 10 days before it died. After a month I was finally sent a replacement, which also no longer even turns on. Currently trying to get refunded, but being ignored by the "company". Good luck to you if you choose to buy one of their products.
I want to know how to disassemble the fork but you escaped that way maybe because you don't have the key tools to remove it i guess! Sorry to give you thumbs down
Using this scooter for short commutes is the way to go, as it makes it really fun. ru-vid.comUgkxvyNuxpWiHTNypxG6nyqyf7ywc7Q16PDM Both the levels of speed it allows you to use are very fun, though 20mph can get pretty scary on bad roads. It makes a cool electric sound as it is accelerating. The battery life is also pretty impressive, as I can go anywhere around me within a ~10 mile radius and back home with a full charge. I expected the tires to feel somewhat like a toy, but it is legit, and has pretty good grip on surfaces. Braking on this scooter is also really fun, since you can even do a little drifting if you break hard. The wheels on the scooter are definitely very high quality, as they are wide and well sized. The entire scooter is pretty high quality too. I have fallen on it a couple times because I was being a little reckless, and the scooter still works perfectly fine, with some minor scratches on the sides. I found the brake lights to be very cool as well, since they flash when you brake.
