In this video I replace the stepper motor on my Central Boiler Classic Edge 350 primary air intake. I was having trouble with the boiler not re-firing properly, after troubleshooting the issue and talking with my local dealer we decided to change the motor.

How do you know your temperature was 1200°? I can only see % efficiency.

Great vid. I have the 550 and have to clean my primary and secondary every year before season. They do get gunked up. Nice repair and hope that does the trick. WST

I am having an issue where my fire is going out despite having plenty of wood left in the box. I am thinking its an air flow issue so i cleaned the air tubes and got as much of the creasote out (which wasnt much) and the fire worked well for about 1-2 weeks and is starting to die out again as before. I am guessing now, thanks to your video, it is my stepper motor that is bad. Is there a way to test this theory before buying a new motor?

I’m not sure how to test the motor sorry. Are the dampers clean? I’ve had the lids get sticky and then they don’t open like they should all of the time also.
