What if any advantages does this tool have over the other 1000-1300W Chinese brands? With the latter can you do smaller jobs like this by just using a smaller diameter nozzle? Or are they too powerful? Reason I'm asking is that I can't decide between Metcal and Ersa for my second station. If this is a useful enough tool I'll go with Ersa (also because their tweezers seem better built for smaller components).
Eventually only the hot air gun is used on that station. It's good for small jobs. Sometimes desoldering gun is used, but actually it doesn't impress much. Tweezers are not used because all job can be done with hot air.
