How To Repair Rusty Pool Walls 

Great video, but I have a question. For the self-etching primer, does it need to be for galvanized steel? Tremclad specificay mentions that you need to buy the galvanized primerfor galvanized metal. Are pool walls galvanized?

Thanks for the Video. Can the same method be used for inground Liner pool walls that have rusty walls with holes?

Can you use the repaired area to cut the hole return or should I relocate the return hole.If I have to pick a different spot.How do I patch my liner where the old return hole was? I purchased 4" square rubber patches and silicone I thought maybe I could sandwich the liner between 2 silicone covered rubber patches.And if I can use the repaired area it would be much easier so I don't have to replace the liner. I repaired the original return hole that rusted 8 years ago and relocated the return hole because I was also installing a new liner. But if I can repair this area and redrill the return hole that would be better.

Thanks for the video. We have many small holes scattered around the pool wall. There are approximately 50 holes about 1/8" in diameter. Our pool is 12 x 24 oval. Would it be possible new sheet metal over the entire inside of pool wall?
