It just took soooo long for my toilet tank to get filled after flush, that I decided to fix that problem. After I took the valve out , I found out there was a piece of rubber roller inserted into the valve tube. The rubber roll had screw-like grooves, making water go spiral and slower. I don't quite understand the purpose of that rubber. If there is some plumber who would give me any explanation, I would appreciate it.
I decided to take that piece of rubber out, because it was just taking too long for a toilet tank to refill. Sometimes it took even 10 minutes.
After I fixed it, it takes only one minute to refill.
And if this doesn't help, get Universal Toilet Fill Valve at The Home Depot for $6.34 www.homedepot.c...
