Stihl should honestly make a better product! went through 3 in the last 3 years. Had a Redmax sprayer for 8 years before it went on me.

You fought that sprayer with a lot of tools and effort. Try removing the tank first and all you need is a screwdriver.

Why do so much assembly. Not necessary to check whether the ball is stuck.
