I know that this video is a few years old, but I searched for a video on this topic and it popped up. Thanks to the producer of the video. Very helpful.
Excellent instructions. So clear and easy to follow that a child could do it. I had my 5 year old watch your video and he replaced the filter in 10 minutes. Thank you 🫡 😉
Beautiful instructions, straight to the point. Step by step. I kinda knew how to do it. Just wanted to be for certain. Appreciate it 👍🏾 from me for sure.
Well done. I had an appointment at a local Ford dealer for scheduled maintenance on my 2014 Expedition but their quote for the air filter change was $180! So I decided to do it myself after seeing your video, picked up an original Motorcraft filter at Advance Auto for $24 including tax, used my portable Dyson to make sure the filter compartment was clean, and got it all done in 8 minutes in 40 degree weather. Only challenge was wrestling the hose away from the container top in the cold. Again, great video, and I'll look through your other items next time I feel automotively motivated.
What year do you have? Some years are without a cabin filter. My 2014 does not have one. If you DO have one, its fairly simple - find the replacement for any model ... you'll get the idea 😊.
H David from what I have researched it looks like the Lincoln may have been equipped with a cabin filter, but it looks as though the 2012 Expedition did not come with one.
@@HomeOwnerRepair yes, that’s correct. I purchased a 2013 Expedition Limited in July from a Ford dealership. Doing much research on my new vehicle has shown these Expeditions for some reason do not have cabin air filters.
