I just did the same thing on a 2011 cts all you have to do to get the hub bearings out use a punch to tap back the the cv axel and heat thev3screws up and they will break loose

Oh good, i didn't used the heat cause the bolts wasn't that hard to break, and them hub bearing not hard as some people make it to be.

It's called slide hammer or bearing puller, you can get it at harbor freight, auto zone or amazon
