Procedures to replace a 2014 Buick Lacrosse head lamps. I demonstrate the OEM selection of the low beam lamp. The removal of the original lamp to diagnose and replacement for the new head light.
I had a really bad day today and found out my drivers side lamp is burned out and I have to replace it...what a joy to find a good ole regular guy showing us folks how to fix a lamp that is burned out and just helping me via a good basic video this is how ya do it type of video. Really down to earth and a great thing to help others...THANK YOU Eric...by the way that is my name too so good no great minds think alike. You rock and anytime I have issues with my 2014 LaCrosse I will look for your help!!
Thanks bro can’t believe somebody was trying to charge me 25 bucks to change my light smh I watch your video and got it done myself….I appreciate you much love
I have a 2014 Buick LaCrosse Premium 3.6 and after reading the comments, I have HID lights and not the one you changed in this video. My front driver side headlight (low beam) needs replacing. Before i saw your video, i thought mines would be simple as yours. Lol Gotta go back to Autozone for HID bulbs. Always replace in pairs and thanks for the video!
Thanks from Philadelphia! My bulb been out for 2 months. After watching your video once I walked a mobile mechanic through the install. My issue was the driver side. I took the tube out for the wiper fluid and pointed. The mechanic was shocked because he couldn’t figure it out right away. He only charged me $20 because the bulb wasn’t broke. I think a pot hole knocked it loose. He turned the fixture and the light turned on. Yeaaaaa!
Very helpful but one big issue, for the driver side there will be the windshield wiper fluid insert thing in the way so 2010-2016 LaCrosse owners BEWARE
Thanks. I need to replace the driver's side low beam headlight and the filler tube for the washer fluid is in the way. If I was smart enough I would do a video of that side, but I can figure it out.
To be honest, it's not as hard as it looks. You pull off the washer fluid neck carefully to get more room. You can see where the 'hook's of that neck is connected to the electrical plastic panel. It just pops off.
@@cableapostleyes just did it. That's why I found that video in the first place. Also i put some dielectric grease on cap o ring so that it maybe easier to remove
I own a 2014 Lacrosse, my vehicle comes stock with HID's, It depends on which Model package you get.. "It's not aftermarket" The correct way to Change the Low beams is remove the front bumper an grill and pull the full headlight assembly to change the bulb.. Same way you change Chevy Malibu's headlight bulbs. You can take the front bumper off in about 15 minutes.. You should always change both driver and passenger headlamps.. Light bulbs lose there brightness over time, so now your passenger side headlamp will look brighter.
HELLO WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE PROBLEM WITH MY DAYTIME RUNNING FOG LIGHT'S? I SEE OTHER 2015 BUICK LACROSSE (( SAME SIDE AS MY CAR)) AND THEY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. THE LEFT SIDE DRL'S ONLY WORK. I HATE THAT LOOK! PLEASE HELP. I'M GONNA TAKE IT TO A SPECIALIST TOO BUT I'M JUST CURIOUS TO KNOW. THX #DETROIT #LOVE
I have a 2014 Buick LaCrosse and once I took the back circle thing off like you said it looked completely differently inside. I had a huge silver box blocking everything. Please hel
Yea bro thats too bad. We both paid good money for this helpful tutorial! I expect studio quality work, and will shame anyone who doesnt edit it to my liking! Can't believe how entitled some people are that some dude takes his time explaining while struggling trying to multitask narrate, hold a camera, and change a bulb on our specific model car, showing every step, and the first comment is someone bitching they didn't like they had to scroll their finger half an inch. Jesus Christ. Thanks uploader, this helped me change my light bulb. I really appreciate it
