Thank you Sir. This is exactly what I was looking for. At first I was fooled into thinking the unit was solid (1 piece). But thankfully your video showed how it came apart. Cheers. Your are the total Package. Thanks again!

Clear, articulate, easy to follow and significantly better than 90% of the how-to videos I've seen about anything. Got me lined out in no time on my 2000 Polaris Xplorer 250. Mine didn't want to come apart as easily as yours, but I scored the seam with a knife to get it unstuck and it slipped apart. With extreme gratitude, thank you!

THANK YOU! I had no idea that thing came apart. The part I need for my 4-wheeler is half the price of a full choke cable replacement and quicker and less annoying to replace. Great video.

Great Video on replacing the choke lever! I wonder why nobody makes a metal version of the little lever? It is a very poor design and they break at the slightest off center force. I have seen so many break on my polaris snowmobiles and friends rides and it's interesting that nobody talks about the problem of the breaking with the slightest off axle force. I have seen so many older snowmobiles with no/broken choke lever, just a rigged way to use the choke during cold starts.

The plastic choke part is fine on mine, isn’t broke but I’m still not getting gas so I’m thinking it’s the tube maybe? Is there anything else it could be? When I pour gas down the heads she works perfectly and will not shut off until I turn her off or she runs hot

I would not have thought that came apart either.. so many cables bought when kits are like 5 bucks... too bad no one makes the pull out of aluminum as the hole where pin slides through always lets go in the coldest of winter when you need it the most...

It is extremely difficult to take apart like you did in the video (for my 93 350L). Any recommendations?

Commenting again, I got copper wire for the pin so all set on that but I went to take the box off from the wired and it’s stuck. I pulled with everything I had and used pliers on it but nothing seemed to work. Even stuck a thin blade down the seam to try and pry old dirt out and nothing seemed to work. Suggestions?

Same issue. Took a razor blade, heated it with a torch and melted the plastic around the case at the end. It sure looked like it was suppose to come apart but no dice but the heat did the trick. Should be fine if I just put some epoxy where I cut it.
