How to replace a corian (resin) sink

I have a couple of suggestions. 1. Tape the counter top before drawing your cut lines. This will prevent surface scratches when operating the saw. 2. Place a large bead of caulk on the underside of the sink to help seal. Even though you place the caulk on the outside, another seal on the inside will help. 3. Place a small piece of tape or cloth cover over your feed lines to keep anything from dropping inside and later clogging your faucet lines. Otherwise, very helpful. Thanks!

Great video! We have an integrated Corian sink. When we got it a decade or so ago we were told if the sink ever broke or whatever that we’d have to replace everything. So glad that’s not the case. Ours is yellowing a little and there are small lines coming out from the disposal drain that I think are small cracks. We’d like to replace it with a stainless steel sink

I would suggest putting a couple of pieces of vertical lumber in the middle of the sink to support the countertop and to prevent it from sagging. Cast irons sinks can do that to you, if left without some kind of support.

Corian sinks are not hard to clean at all. You fill the sink with hot water and bleach, let it sit over night and rinse. Anything left over can be buffed out with barkeepers soft scrub and a microfiber cloth. This sink probably didn’t need replaced 😅

Assuming this is porcelain coated cast iron sink...how durable is the porcelain with pots and pans

All tool marks must be removed and the cutout needs a top an bottom radius to eliminate stress risers that can crack the top. This wasn't done here. 3:40.

Doesn’t show that sink should be supported beneath so that when cuts are made sink doesn’t drop and crack the perimeter . Worker is not wearing a dust mask. Corian dust is nasty
