I DO NOT like the feel of an over grip. At the beginning of each season, I purchase 6 new replacement grips and play with only the replacement grip. In addition to feeling "odd" to me, the overgrip adds about 6 grams of weight in the handle, which is a significant "customization" that changes the playing characteristics.

Yeah definitely personal preference. I personally prefer an over-grip over the manufactures grip. "If it aint broken....."
