Thank you so much! I had multiple people tell me theyd have to 'take off the side' to replace the headlight. This was so quick and easy i had both lights done and reinstalled in 15 minutes.
Thanks, man. I was trying to help my daughter change her low beam, and we dropped the screw-off cap into the fender well. We got that out thru the wheel well, but figured we better stop and watch some videos. Much appreciated!
Drill a small hole on the bottom for venting/draining, the darn things always leak or fog up due to condensation. I've tried sealing with silicone prior to installing, doesn't last. Learned the hole drill method from Scotty.
Verify that for the low beam bulb you have an H11 B bulb. If you ended up with an H11 bulb there is an extra fitting on the back that does not line up correctly.
Hello there! I left this question on another one of your videos a few minutes ago, but then I figured it might be better to ask you on one of your recent videos. My husband is a great car mechanic. He has been doing it for over 15 years. A reoccurring scenario in my house is him walking in from working completely smelling STRONGLY of gas. He always says that he had a gas dump on him from working on a car. I hate it because I worry about the chemicals coming in contact with his skin. There has to be a way to avoid this. Is there a way to avoid this?! Do you or anyone know how to avoid this from happening? If anyone knows it would be you! As smart as he is, Im hoping that there is a trick that he doesn't know about. Please help lol
Smelling like gas is just part of the job but whenever I work on the fuel system I always wear nitrile gloves because regular latex gloves just fall apart and the nitrile will not. I hope this helps. Just remember that long time exposure to gas and oil will cause many problems as he gets older
