I have this exact same model head. The instructions that it came with are useless for the wiring. Any tips on how the switch should be wired? 🙏🏻

I dont remember the wiring on this as it was a few years ago. I should have included it in the video. From what I can remember it was only 2 wires on a 12vdc system. The negative black wire should run from the head to your negative bus bar. The positive should go from the head to one side of a switch then to the head circuit breaker. I don't remember fusing requirements. Hope this helps.

I've heard sea water flush can cause odors. I guess if you use the head and flush often it's not a serious problem, correct?

That's right. The biology that's in the seawater can create a smell if it sits stagnant in the plumbing. If you flush regularly it's not much of an issue. But freshwater is better for the smell if possible.

I’ve installed a similar toilet (Masterflush 7160). I have the same vented loop, however it is causing the toilet not to work optimally. It allows air to enter the system when flushing so there isn’t a lot of water. Any suggestions?

Vented loops are designed to have water pushed past the cap. Most of the time if water is suctioned past the cap you will get air. The air that is being sucked past the cap opens the vent allowing more air in. Often once the water hits the vent it closes the loop and you dont notice it. Sometimes there isn't enough water pressure to close the vent. My first step would be to inspect and clean the cap. If that doesn't resolve the situation you can try replacing the vented loop. Last option would be to install a small prime pump. Without being aboard and seeing your setup that is the best options I have. There maybe other issues such as crimped or partially blocked feed hoses or some other anomaly. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

I saw that the seal kit for a jabsco manual toilet is 100 dollars a pop which is rediculous so would be inclined to go electric ..

It's crazy how they price the rebuild kits for any of the heads. It's almost always worth your time to just buy new.

was that hold for 4 to 5 sec, or hold for 45 seconds ?

The flush button is 4 to 5 seconds. That is usually enough to get rid of everything and have the bowl refill. But individual experiences may vary. Thanks for watching!
