I have a very very similar sound on my Golf mk4, and it uses an old type of transaxle like in your video, where the release bearing is outside of the box. The sound only appears when the car is completely stopped and clutch is not pressed, when i press it sound goes away. A very small movement of the car mutes this sound as well. I called a mechanic to ask what the problem is and he said it must be the input shaft bearing. Maybe you will know what the problem really is here? Very good video!
@@misterispusovcikas9066 then it most definitely is not the release bearing, it’s your flywheel. The release bearing makes noise when you depress the clutch
Does any gearbox oil leak out? Took the cap off mine a tiny bit and oil started to leak out so hit it back on as have no oil and didn't want to take it off incase I needed to refill it. Cheers
