I removed the drain plug but there is still coolant behind the thermostat. It also completely stuck in here and I cannot easily pull it out as you did in the video. I only know coolant is still behind it if i press against it with a screwdriver. What do I do? Please help me.
if the bolt head is rounded out try to hammer a smaller socket on it. use a 12 point socket if this doesn't work get a flat head with a hammer and try to hit on the side to unscrew it
Hey just took out my thermostat out my 2006 kia sorento .could not find the hole to let coolant out .so when i took the thermostat .coolant just drip right out . can you tell how to put it back in
Hey Eric, so I replaced my thermostat and everything was easy as u showed, but I noticed that the thermostat I got from auto parts looked different, I put it on and my truck still over heats and now it over heats faster, with the other thermostat it would over heat but temp would cool down on idle quick, with the new thermostat takes longer to cool down!? Help
the vehicle was overheating so thats why I replaced it, I used a 50/50 mixture of coolant and distilled water, not sure why it failed could be that its a cheap autozone brand
@@johnd5805 I personally will not use them again, I did my neighbor Honda acord less than 1 year ago and the thermostat would not open and it would start to overheat as well
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE The Korean oem thermostat I took out of there looked 10 times better than the one I bought at Autozone. The difference in quality was very obvious. Thanks
