My *33yr old* beige colour Henry just 'died'; won't switch on after working fine yesterday; I didn't realise how old it was until I've just checked, as I 'inherited' it. I like that it's survived this long, so I'm keen to mend it-! :)
Do you have a video of how to replace the old Henry push up and down switch, not a rocker? And do you stock the older switch? My Henry has a green rocker which is ok but the power switch is a rectangular shape that you push down to engage then down again to switch off. The power is on when I plug in so I can use it but have to operate on/off at the mains, not the switch on the appliance.
Hi Maham, we have many other videos to help you, the best one for this is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pJkyY8qRRwc.html. You will need a suitable meter like shown here: www.espares.co.uk/product/es1741061/professional-digital-multimeter?pageNumber
Can i turn the Hi/Low switch around (or Bypass) so it always powers on in high mode? I have a 15m hose and control the On/Off via Alexa/Sonoff but have to manually switch to high which is inconvenient as Henry is not accessible everyday.
+Joe Hugh It is more likely to be the small control board that has failed. go to bit.ly/1G0FaXS and enter your model number (not just the type) to find the part you require.
Hi John, sorry we do not know the exact size, however, we recommend checking out our Torx Kit which has the most frequently required sizes for appliance related repairs: www.espares.co.uk/product/es1251179
I have a hetty which works but the lo high switch doesn't. Is it literally the switch? Didn't want to buy a new one in case it's something else. Thanks.
