How to replace a wiper blade on a Citroen C4

Hi SurvivorIceland. What year is your C4 and is it a Hatchback (5-door) or a Coupe (3-door)? Do the wipers touch or are they going above/below the windscreen? If you measured the replacement wiper, what length is it? I (Will) replaced both the old right and left wiper blades with new Bosch AeroTwin AP28U wiper blades. They are 700mm / 28" in length. I am very pleased with the wipe clearance and neither blade touch each other when they are sweeping. According to online research, when you buy a pair of them, they come in sets of either 750mm & 650mm or 700mm & 600mm for my 2007 Citroen C4 Hatchback. Hope this helps, Driveways Dudes - Will

It is same year as yours or 2007 model. I got Borg & Beck wipers. The length is 70 cm and 60 cm and the arm that open or moves first has the short blade. I think it touch little bit so i went to spare part store were i bought my new wipers but it was closed so i went to used car dealer ship that sold same car as mine and the longer blade in that car is placed differently then my new wipers.

Hi SurvivorIceland. Have you tried taking the wiper blades off and switching them around onto the other arm? Has your C4 ever had it's air filter replaced? From experience the wipers and scuttle have to be removed to carry out the filter replacement, and it's possible the wiper arms may not have been refitted in exactly the correct position, which would mean the need to be removed again and re-aligned/re-positioned. Probably a good enough reason not to waste your money on a Chinese version Hero
