Thanks for this video mate. Helped me a lot. For people worrying about disconnecting the battery and having electrics issues after with these newer ivecos, just do it quickly! Mine gave me a fright by doing absolutely nothing the first time I turned the key but second time all was good. No loss of codes etc. Once the terminal bolts are loose and the bottom bracket removed you can swap it over for new battery in 30 seconds and get those terminals back on. Thanks again mate.
Thanks mate... That helps me out... Going to swap the battery today on a 2018 Daily... You are right about quality... Unfortunately Iveco did not think the way you and I do... They did it sheep and cheerful. OK, rubbish out, 100ah battery in... Once again, thanks for a short, great video.
Be careful - we found that if you leave the vehicle with a flat for too long, it loses sync with the ECU and has to be re-programmed by an Iveco dealer. So make sure you swap it quickly and don't leave it without a battery for more than 30 minutes.
Hi. Can you recommend a diagnostics tool for the Iveco Mk6? I've got an Autel TS808 but it doesn't have the Iveco included. Also I've yet to find the OBD port - any idea? It's a 2018/19 Daily. Thanks.
Nice video to see that. The new battery is clearly a good brand but it looks an inch smaller at each end? Assume its still rated for a daily? I've got to change mine soon hence seeking out a video like this.
There’s diff ratings it’s what you prepared to pay 80 to 120 odd amps , all 175mm deep , or 175 190 mm High DONT let them give you a 225 high it won’t fit !
I let the battery die after a few weeks on holiday, swapped it out for a new one and now have the immobiliser warning exactly as you say. What is the next step with this? is there a diy fix or am I actually facing spending big to get it trailered to an iveco dealer for recoding… any thoughts much appreciated as it seems absolutely daft for a flat battery
The kick panel, plastic bracket is screwed in, wedge the battery surround away from the piece using a flat head screwdriver, x3 10mm bolts third bolt on the bottom tray area locking the the whole battery in place
@@CosmicPrawny and put in reg got 9 choices only 2 would fit as need a max of 190mm H to fit under cables at back So the casing will fit ? Deck got 225 mm H so no fit bloody platinum 019 is 190 or 175 H
Any reason why you took a 020AGM battery off any replaced it with a underpowered standard lead acid battery? Hahaha guys don't do the same as this plonker. He'll be buying another in 3 month.
