The rears are much easier, but they do require the use Launch Scanner to retract the electronic parking brake.
1. In scan Rear electronic parking brake Open mode Procedure
2. Rear Brake Pad Replacement
3. Front Brake Pad Replacement
4. Closed Mode of Rear electronic parking brake Procedure
Tools and equipment needed are:
Scanner
Disc Brake Piston Caliper Compressor Rewind Wind Back Tool Set
Jack or Hydraulic Ramp to raise the vehicle
Brake cleaner solution
Brake grease
17mm socket with a long bar to remove the wheel bolts
13mm socket and ratchet to remove the two caliper bolts
Large flat blade screwdriver or leaver bar to remove retaining spring
Hammer to help remove the pads from the caliper
