In this episode we are replacing batteries in Ajax alarm products.
More specific on: Door Protect, Motion Protect, Street Siren, Keypad and Space Control.
Ajax Door Protect requires 1 x CR123A Battery
Ajax Motion Protect requires 1 x CR123A Battery
Ajax Street Siren requires 4 x CR123A Batteries
Ajax Keypad requires 4 x AAA Batteries
Ajax Space Control requires 1 x CR2032 Battery

A good and informative video. My AJAX system was one of the best purchases I have ever made. It was so easy to self-install. In our neighbourhood we had a spate of burglaries and assaults on residents at night. After I completed the installation, my family and I could sleep soundly. It's been almost three years, I now have to change a space controller's battery. Your video was a huge help.

Excellent video. However, he missed off changing the batteries in the Home Siren. Dismount from the Smart Bracket, turn off, remove four screws and replace 2 off CR123A. Refit in reverse order and check status on the app.

hi there poseidwn tech .i m really enjoying your useful vedios. i d like to ask you a question for ajax street siren .how many years can the batteries of street siren live when they are opperational without adding 12v supply ?

It depends on the usage and settings. I set the duration of the Siren at maximum 30 seconds so I have customers that the battery last 2 years but i have also one customer that i had to change the siren batteries after a year.
