New Crankshaft Position Sensor from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ic/1AEC...
This video shows you how to install a new crankshaft position sensor from TRQ on your 2010-2014 Subaru Outback (2.5L H4). The crankshaft position sensor is an important component of any electronically controlled ignition system. The sensor provides the computer with data about the position of the crank shaft to properly adjust ignition timing. If the sensor in your vehicle is broken or malfunctioning, you may suffer poor performance, or get a check engine light.
This repair was done on a 2012 Subaru Outback 2.5i 2.5L Wagon 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2010 Subaru Outback
2011 Subaru Outback
2012 Subaru Outback
2013 Subaru Outback
2014 Subaru Outback

If anyone wants to save a good amount of time , you can easily take off the belt and pulley and have enough space to access the 10mm bolt that holds the sensor and take it out without having to remove the bracket and alternator . Saved me tons of time

Thank you very much for what you posted here it made my job so much easier. This is the first time I've owned a Subaru I have a 2010 outback and I replaced the camshaft position sensor first and that works for a day but the next morning I went to go to work and it was not starting just a continual crank. Your video helped me do it in 20 minutes. Thank you very much!

Maybe on some it's in the front but my 2014 outback sensor is located in the back of the engine.
