It was pretty easy. I recommend some shop gloves and paper towels to stuff into the two holes while you clean up around the ERG. There's a lot of crumbs and dirt and dust on mine I wanted to clear off before I put on the new one.

is it nessesary to remove the negative baterry? when removing any electrical parts? or not needed i havbe a hondas hrv
