Heeeey peter, I'm going to have a crack at my headlights today because of you and I'm pretty confident I can do it after watching your vid. I need both headlight bulbs changed and your commentary was perfect, I know I can do this. Today's challenge: Change both bulbs... so I can drive at night P.s I didn't know you couldn't touch the bulb, thank you
Thank you so much. I looked under the bonnet and scratched my head - I looked at your video and it all became so clear, and so easy. Less than 10 minutes from start to finish, and it only took that long as the wind blew one of the grill clips away! Any idea how to get at the dash board speedometer illumination lights? One side (the middle, or left of the speedo) has failed. Some people say it's a dash-out job, but it can't be, surely? Thank you again.
That was me a few weeks ago, I bought the bulb, popped the hood, looked around the headlight area, scratched my head and put the hood back down. I'm going to do it today cos of Pete's vid
I had changed the headlight bulbs a number of times without ever detaching the entire headlight assembly but this way you get clear access and can really see what you do and thus also avoid damaging things in accident. As the video shows, the assembly may require some slight twisting back and forth to find a way to get it out, but better use patience and some time than force... Thanks Peter! (PS I had misplaced my Haynes manual and thus googled and found this helpful video...)
Kiitos tästä videosta. Suosittelisitko kenties, että vaihtaa sitten kerralla kaikki lamput molemmille puolille kun kerran alkaa pulaamaan valojen kanssa? Aika helppo homma. Ilmeisesti jos on Xenon valot sitten menee vaikeaksi ?
-Oh,my headlight is out. Let's change it. -You will have to remove the front grill and remove the whole headlight -But that is dumb -It's the FORD way. Fcking FORD
@@PeterFinnTheCarDoctor I forgot about that but since i found worse. Reanult CLIO 2 service guide 1-lift the car 2-remove front wheels 3-remove inner wheel liner 4-remove front bumper completely 5-remove headlights 5-6 bolts cant rememeber (at least they are bolted in and after a few years the clips dont break like on a ford) 6-change bulbs Repeat backwards and when finished cry because you spent half a day changing a damn lightbulb It's the french way! :)
