This video shows you how to install a front lower control arm on your 2002-2008 Dodge Ram 1500. Control arms are a crucial part of the suspension system of your vehicle. They not only carry the load of the vehicle to the wheel, but they typically also maintain its alignment. Control arms are typically large and strong, so you may be surprised it needs replacing. They contain rubber bushings for smoother rides at the cost of eventual wear, or integrated ball joints that require replacing the entire arm when they wear.

Great video. Remember that 2006 to 2008 went to a strut and got rid of the torsion bar. Also, why didn't you just remover the brake caliper right after tire removal? I bet you could've gotten the front axle out of the way, without removing it. Also, would it be better to remove the torsion bar's tension sooner that you did? Not meaning to be critical, just curious. Thanks for sharing this.

Good, helpful video. Hopefully, on your truck the strut mounting bolt to the control arm bushing isn't seized, otherwise you'll likely need to cut the bolt or the bottom of the strut to remove the old bushing and bolt. A major PITA.

.....and now we're just going to drive this puppy to the junk yard and then head to the dealer to go ahead and lease a brand new Toyota, there just like that...
