This video shows you how to install new fuel injectors from TRQ on your 1994-2004 Ford Mustang (3.8L V6). Fuel injectors are computer controlled spray nozzles that deliver fuel to your engine in precisely controlled volumes. They are one of the keys to modern efficient and clean engines. If a fuel injector is dirty or failing, it can present symptoms such as rough idle, engine surges, rich or lean conditions, and check engine lights. Replacing a problematic fuel injector with an engineered to fit TRQ replacement part right away is essential to the health of your vehicle’s engine.
This repair was done on a 2003 Ford Mustang Base 3.8L Convertible 2-Door RWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

To change out the fuel injectors, the only gasket you must replace is the intake plenum gasket correct?

So I did this as well.... I did all fuel injectors..... was about to put it back together and then I saw that maybe my problem wasn't the fuel injectors but instead the imrc bushes that was actually the problem because they aren't even connected anymore! Anyways fixed that with my buddy put it all back together ran down the street for a minute smelled nothing but gas! Fuel everywhere all over the engine bay ! A complete disaster! Jesus christ..... anyways was able to drive back home since it was a min down the road popped the hood up and rev the engine and we think it was the fuel rod thingy where u use a quick disconnect we believe it wasn't pushed in properly will be doing more test driving tomorrow so stay tuned for a follow up
