@@devonweber2330GM updated the fuel pump connector from the original 4 wire square connector, to a 4 wire flat connector. Not sure as to why they did this but, make sure your fuel pump assembly comes with the new harness. All you have to do cut the old connector off and splice the new one on. Just make sure you hook the correct wires together.
And he decided to leave out a couple very important small bolts you gotta take out. That's because they are a pain to get out and no way to film it. But at least mention them

Is this any bit different for doing this same thing but in an older model? Specifically the 91' model? I'm going to need to replace my tank and fuel pump soon
Removing the bed takes about 1hr, I just sprayed down all 8 bolts with Blaster, and gave each bolt 4-5 good walks with a 1/4 metal punch , all came right out. No prob , also 3-4 screws on gas filler bracket under gas door, and 2 ground bolts in rear and the connector for rear lights
@@moneymikeabildgaard419in a shop, most would put the truck up on a lift and drop the tank. But at home, it’s way easier to lift the bed. By dropping the tank, you can drain it and clean the rust, etc. out.
