Muchas gracias por el tutorial, yo tengo una Matebook 14 y veo que comentas que son muy similares, el cambio del teclado es realmente complejo. Sin duda la tengo que mandar a un taller ya que también requiere el cambio del cable del display. Thank You!! mx. si quieres yo ando en queretaro con gusto re reviso gratis y cambio teclado gratis solo pagas el teclado y envios. neta soy muy desconfiado con esos cabrones que trabajan no te vana remachar bien incluso maltratan tus cables flexores. mandame email el dia que gustes te mando ubicacion en caso qe requieres servicio gratis. @@uFixTek Muchas gracias, tu español es bueno, ya me entregaron mi equipo, desgraciadamente quedó con mas fallas, ahora el touchpad quedo funcionando muy mal. Se le cambio el teclado, ese quedo bien, lo malo es la calidad, ya que en Huawei no los venden a clientes, solo los cambian en sus centros de servicios, yo creo que mi mejor opción seria llevarlo con el centro de servicio del fabricante, ya que la pantalla también esta dañada. A veces se ve bien, pero después la imagen se degrada, Muchísimas gracias por tu ayuda, te lo agradezco enormemente.

Hey! Thank you for your hardwork and this video, looks very hard to perform such actions. I have Huawei matebook D14. I have spoiled little bit of vine on my keyboard, and everything is working fine, except the one thing. Couple of keys (left "shift" and other keys around are not easy to press, it feels like very sticky and just unpleasant. Do you think that I will need to buy a new keyboard and replace it, or I can just clean it? Thanks in advance!

Now, about your question, I'm here to help, and before you start shopping for a new keyboard or sending your current one to keyboard therapy, why not give cleaning a shot? #1. First things first, power off your laptop. #2. Carefully remove or disconnect the battery. #3. You'll need some high-strength isopropyl alcohol, specifically 99%+. You can find it here: amzn.to/47aSSad #4. Get a soft toothbrush, not the one with goo in the middle, and make sure it's pure soft bristles. #5. Dip the brush into the alcohol and brush gently at a 45-degree angle under the keys, in every direction. After feeling the alcohol under the keys, start stroking the keys for 5 minutes. Let it dry overnight. Don't worry, the alcohol won't damage the motherboard. The next day, reconnect your battery and enjoy. The alcohol will replace the water that's causing trouble, and it'll break down any sugary residue that's making your keys sticky from that expensive Vine that you wasted! 🍷 Good luck with your keyboard cleaning, and remember, cheers with your actual beverages, not on your keyboard. 🍻 (Please, don't spill your wine on the keys; it's not keyboard therapy!) 🫠 This is an Amazon affiliate, when you use my links, I earn a percentage, which helps support the channel🙏.

@@uFixTeki spilled some coke mine as well and just two keys are sticky. everything works perfectly fine rn but should i clean everything by tearing down or send it to warranty?is there a possibility can cause in future? i can see there's a drainage hole so i do not think keyboard connects motherboard directly but .. what should i do?

if you send that laptop with water damage the warranty will be not applied and is voided. physical and water damage voids the warranty. there is no draining water spot, all you can do is use a soft toothbrush and 98% Isopropyl alcohol and clean with that.

I have to remove touchpad - it does not click. Probably just to clean up. Do you know if it is just screwed in? Or glued? Any advice how to remove it?

Check for Battery Inflation: If you notice the trackpad issue, it may be caused by battery inflation. To check for this, remove the laptop's battery and inspect the middle section for any signs of slight inflation. #2. Clean the Trackpad: If the issue isn't related to battery inflation, proceed with cleaning the trackpad. To do this, follow these steps: a. At around @7:30 in the video, you'll need to remove the shield plastic to access the trackpad screws. b. Remove the two screws that hold the trackpad in place. By following these steps, you should be able to address the trackpad problem. If you encounter any difficulties or have further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. @@uFixTek I did removed the touchpad. There is no dirt to clean. It looks fine, I disassembled metal back plate and fitted it back few times ( there are 2 metal wires that meant to spring, but feels like it still douesn't click). When press had now, the buttons react and work, but there is no "click" - not much movement up and down. No sign of wear, broken parts or anything suspicious.. Would be easier if could add photos.

you may have received a bad palm rest or a different reversion, o maybe you are not inserting the keyboard flex cable all the way in the connector.

i recommend you to clean up as much as you can, inside out and send it for warranty and don't say about the chicken gravy , just be like the laptop stopped working, and usually they don't open it, they may just replace it. it's worth trying. else you will need to take it to a repair store and they will have to replace the keyboard and finger print and repair the board.
