Hello, the extra load-resistor is required if you replace the high beams with aftermarket LED bulbs? We don't suggest you do it f you mind connect extra wiring harness.

No. The distance light has a lot to do with the OEM headlight design. As we know, the low beams are regular lights, and high beam are usually used on the dark off-road lights. So the high beam output light is further than low beam. Also, the low beam and high beam are different sockets, different difference plug.

No. For 2018 Mazda CX5, the OEM headlight and DRL are LEDs already. These LED bulbs are used to replace OEM halogen bulbs.

Yes, these 9005 high beams also work as DRLs, but the brightness of DRL will be the same as high beams. Because the Original DRL's watt is lower than high beam, all of these after-market LED 9005 high beams are the same watt.

no, you have to put the canbus decoder resistor in a way that is not clear to me, i put both resistors, 50w 6 ohms in paralell of each bulb and the drl is not turning on, i will try one pair with canbus included
