I only had to unscrew the 3 torques on the filter box and unclip the air intake ( just had to move the weather stripping for the third bolt near the cabin)
Thank you for showing the easy way to replace the AF. It did help me a lot. I have a question, though, regarding the gray pleated filters visible behind the orange one (around 1:55 time mark.) Do they also need to be replaced and how?
Nope, no filter to replace on the other side for this engine, unless you mean the one inside the air box behind the air filter that does not need replacing, it's part of the airbox and stay clean at all times.
Its a built in non replaceable filter that's built in on to the airbox, it stays clean all the time since it's located on the back of the air filter, im not sure what the purpose of it is but there is probably more to it.
I am not saying this is hard, but if this is easy then I don’t know how to call airfilter replacement on Maserati. It takes seconds. I find Benz cars extremely stupid designed.
