Thank goodness I found this video 😇 also just remember the last person that had the car could of put them in the other way around too, so do the same but turn mirror other way access from inside your car as it’s a tight stop.

Everything was right on my Mk4 except the clip was on the INSIDE. So you have to move the mirrors all the way OUT, open the window and access the clip while sitting in the seat (2010 mk4 1.8 tdci titianium)

W polifcie trzeba wymontować szkło lusterka aby dostać się do śrubki która trzyma lampkę.

Bei mir mußte ich das Spiegelglas vorsichtig abziehen ( ist nur geklemmt).Das Umfeldlicht ist innen noch mit einer Schraube fixiert.

Wie hast du das Glas abgekommen? Bei mir sitzt das richtig fest und ich habe Angst das zu zerbrechen

well that was a way to do it for sure, saw another dude taking off the mirror glass

Damn, why can't it be that easy on the Focus? :( For the Focus you have to squeeze a screwdriver under the clip which will likely scratch the bottom plastic shell of the mirror and then you have to disconnect two flimsy wires instead of a whole plug.
