Thank you simple instructions and for the book to say you have to go to a Dealership is Ludicrous for a bulb that small!!!! Love my Toyota have 337,000 miles 😊
Actually, I have the same car. You're not supposed to pull carpet free without removing the plastic pieces first. You stick a phillips screwdriver in and turn it very slightly until the center of it pops open. Then it comes out easily. Yanking the carpet out without removing these it's probably why they're breaking.
I watched your video now I am ready to go change my bulb(s). Since you reminded me to do both. Maybe the cops won’t pull me over for this again for awhile. Haha. Thanks Pete
Although it was 20 minutes long, I enjoyed your video...and your accent! Your advice to only remove the top section of the liner and to pop the plastic rivets out from behind the liner was AWESOME! Thank you for your help! =o)
*** Just want to add this quick but important input if your Camry has an emergency trunk release handle. The way to remove the "carpet or liner" to get easy access to the license plate bulbs would be to - remove all the rivets to free up the carpet. Then slide the carpet over the emergency release handle. The rest of the work is pretty easy. ***
Hi, Your video helped me to figure out how to do and buy what is needed like bulbs & carpet rivets. Thanks for all the details. I have to replace bulb & plastic rivets, original one's broke while removing.
Thank you very much for showing me how to do this it was driving me crazy trying to figure it out. However, you should consider putting subtitles in your videos simply because you were very very hard to understand, sorry to tell you but it's the truth. Other than that awesome video in earned my like!
Peter Finn not difficult if you understand English. He only as. Has an accent. Not a dialect issue. Geeezzzz. It’s harder to understand southerners in America
Wow that is an involved process for just a license plate bulb! On the 97-01 models, the screws holding the lens and socket in are mounted outside- no need to take the trunk lining apart. Not sure why they had to complicate everything.
I need to remove the entire light housing to clean the lens, it's foggy and doesn't look good. Do you know how to remove it!? BTW thanks a lot for the video!!
The black plastic fabric "stays"... If you see rings, try to remove the inner ring with a screwdriver. On my car it was a peg that spread out the outer ring causing it to grasp the frame and hold tight. Just forcing it - as shown - breaks the plastic stays. Pulling out the center post first, should cause the outer ring to contract so you can wiggle it out. MRW
6 minutes in and you still didn't get to the point, also you're missing thr emergency trunk release lever, which is the real hard part of this operation.
You spent eight minutes and explaining something it takes 2 minutes to do why don't you just go straight to it and study explaining everything and when your next video I was going to sleep after 2 minutes
Just because his accent is different, that doesn't make it wrong. Maybe your accent is a turn-off to others. You can't complain that you left without the knowledge, just that you left.
