This video shows you how to install a new shock and spring assembly designed specifically to fit your 2010-2014 Subaru Outback. A shock and spring complete assembly simplifies installation. You don't need to separate the spring from the shock absorber.
This repair was done on a 2012 Subaru Outback 2.5i 2.5L Wagon 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Great and helpful video. I used a 24” pry bar but was only able to successfully complete the swap because my friend was standing on it. A 36” or longer one would have been better fyi

Excellent videos. Not only a straightforward way to explain the procedure, but with the tool sizes and torque specs detailed. Always my first stop before I get to it! BTW- going to post this same comment on the front/rear video. Thank you 🙏🏼

Excellent to the point video. Just replaced my rear struts with the new TRQ struts in my 2011 outback. Fairly easy job and fit perfectly.
