2003 Toyota Corolla
2004 Toyota Corolla

I really like how you show many of the "what happens if" such as you can't get the parts apart - they are rusted together. When you use heat to break the rust seals, where to apply the flame, what to avoid hitting with the torch - awesome! So many of these type of videos show only the basic "how to" doing the procedure on like-new cars where everything comes apart quick and easy, and I swear before they make the video, they actually DO the procedure, deal with any issues, then record their video so everything will be quick, easy and clean without issues. This was a TREAT - looked like this procedure was the worst possible case - never saw that much RUST on any vehicle except those that were in a junk yard for years in the rain! Also indicating the torque values and even order of tightening - Thank You!

Very interesting. I believe that this is in my future for my 05 Corolla so it's good to know what to expect. Great job.

I have to replace the dust shield that rusted away and wont hold the pin for the ebrake anymore on my Vibe GT, which is the same as a Matrix XRS. It has rear disck brakes, though, and I dont want to damage the hub assembly. I cant find any videos on this but this video should help a bit. Thanks!

The lug nuts are 19mm. Also, why didn't you use a slide hammer?

Looks like that car came from a junkyard. Thought my hub assembly was rough.

Tuesday, August 15, 2023 ☁⛅☁ Could I get the hub off without removing the brake hose? 🤔 My car is a 2004 Corolla, with a fair amount of rust. I already know the brake fitting will not break free.
